Due to his lack in understanding the situation, he uses nods and yeses in agreeing with what is being said. Little does he know that through not having described the reality of the situation, he brings shame to his fellow Texans by giving the image that they interpret based of their own lack of knowledge. -
Robinson Crusoe Worldview - Religious Misunderstanding.
Robinson Crusoe is talking to a local and they talk about God. The local shares his Creation story as Robinson Crusoe becomes more and more agitated. He ends by calling him a "heathen savage" when the local attempts to feel the spirit through the pages. -

Karate Kid - Difference in Perspectives.
Mr Han makes Dre do a jacket routine their first training day. Dre does not understand this at all but Mr. Han has different reasons. This is a difference in perception. Dre is missing the fact that he needs to practice habits and sampling listening which is what Mr. Han is teaching him indirectly. -
Karate Kid - Misuding DIR in assuming who a person is.
Dre is surprised after Mr. Han helps him heal several of his bruises. Mr. Han states a powerful statement – “You think only with your eyes, so you are easy to fool.” This points out that Dre is used to Interpreting what he sees first rather than describing everything.
